We’ve been making beads again.   Sometimes there just isn’t enough danger in quilting with needles thread and cutting wheels and scissors.

Fire,  propane, kilns, molten glass, popping hot glass rods, red hot metal….Now there’s some fun!

Vicky wanted to learn how to lampwork to add to her jewelry making skill set, and since she’s been safe behind the wheel of a car, and hasn’t burned down the house cooking or soldering,  we thought let’s give her a chance behind a torch lampworking.  It’s like teaching someone to drive, only with a flaming hot torch.
