A Lightbulb Moment

My oil painting learning and practice proceeds.  I’m working on seeing and painting reflective surfaces.

“Oh, it’s a lightbulb.”The graphic on the box is the way I wanted to draw it.   The object is so much more complex seeing beyond the name and the symbol of the thing.  There’s looking, and then there’s seeing how things change, distort, reflect.  It’s been good for me to learn to take the time to see more deeply.

Wow, I’m wondering how you did that. The bulb in front actually looks like glass! You are seeing very well indeed.
