I get immediate gratification planting seedlings into the ground. Voila, rows of plants, settling into their berths, getting ready to fruit, flower, twine and twirl.
Poking seeds into soil brings a different level of satisfaction.   A bit of patience, water and sun, and shoots and sprouts emerge looking nothing like the hard pods that entered the ground.  It’s so exciting!  These are soon to become vines, bushes, pumpkins, and beans.
