Idyllwild Family Camp

Idyllwild, theatre, lawn, parachute canopyWe’re off to Idyllwild Family Arts Camp. We make a yearly sojourn up into the rocky hills above Temecula in the San Jacinto Mountains.  It’s a place to make and learn things for seven days and six nights with family and friends. We’ve gone every year for at least 5 years (we’ve lost count) and the staff, visiting teachers, artists,  and other families have become good friends over the years.  We love that a community of families come together to be creative, perform, have fun, and learn.

It is completely magical – I got invited to come three years ago and have come every summer since. Funky and delightful and mellow and artistic and family. My idea of a 5 star resort!
