Back Porch Fabrics in Pacific Grove has one of my favorite assortments of quilting fabric. It’s a store chock full of color and light. The fabric selection leans toward contemporary, bright and fun – right up my alley. I try to stop in when I’m in the area to fondle fabric, admire class samples, and be inspired.

Not to be missed is the gallery in the back. There’s never been a time I’ve been there that there hasn’t been something fantastic and wonderful hanging back there. This time was no exception. Margaret Nava’s Persimmons and More was hanging – it’s up only until January 10.
