I meandered around the Swoon Quilt. It seemed to me to call out for something simple and basic. And for something that I could do consistently for about 80″x80″. Now on to binding. And the other Swoon Linen Quilt.

It’s beautiful! Love all the details. I want to start swooning too…all my quilting gals are doing them right now…I need to hurry up and finish my other stuff!
Thank you! I know how it is with UFO’s. I sort of ignored the pile and just went for it.
It looks great. I want to make one too!
Thanks! It’s a strangely addictive pattern. I started on my second one (the linen background one) before the quilting was done on the first because picking fabrics to combine on each block was so fun.
This is beautiful! I love the brown in there it realy ballances and adds a richness to the color scheme.
Thank you!
Beautiful! After seeing yours, I got all motivated and started mine finally. Thanks!
Great! Can’t wait to see yours! It’s been fun to see all the variations on the Flickr pool.

It looks great. I think you’re right about the quilt pattern calling for something simple. Were you able to do this on your regular sewing machine? If so, do you have any tips to share?
Hi Rachel,
I didn’t do this on my regular sewing machine. I long armed it. The quilt is about 82×82 and that’s just too big to wrestle through a regular sewing machine for me.
Cheers,
Patty
