More Swooning with Linen

I posted about Swooning with Linen back in January. (For even more swooniness, go here, and here…and if you want to know what the world wide web  – at last count, 809 members! – is doing with the Swoon block, go here).

Here’s where I’m at with my Linen Swoon Quilt.  Pictures taken on a bright shiny day on the lawn so you’re seeing the crinkliness of the linen  (Truth be told, the linen part is the background – the color areas you see are 100% cotton).

I’m toying with borders or not, more linen or not, and what kind of quilt backing I want to use.  With the natural linen in the front, I’m inclined right now to quilt with linen on the back as well to see how that turns out.  I’ve never used linen on the back of a quilt. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes.

Fabulous! I do like your blocks with the three colors instead of two. I am going to try one block as my next project. Who knows, maybe it will grow into a quilt.

LOVE the linen. I want to make a second Swoon too – but I think I’d better finish the one in progress first 😉
