Free Motion Quilting Project

I think I’m a mighty ferocious doodler and free motion quilter myself, but anytime I need a cure for hubris in this regard, or better yet, ideas on what to do, this is a great Flickr set to check out.

I love that it’s so many free motion patterns all in one place.

Leah Day – the creator of all those free motion swatches – is also author of a blog of the same name at FreeMotionQuilting.blogspot.com. There’s lots of helpful advice on machine quilting here – not just patterns.

About piecedgoods

Leah is so very talented. I love her DVDs & books, along with the free insights she shares on her delightful blog and on youtube. I’m also looking forward to her tutorial for the 2012 Free Motion Quilting Challenge.
