Ochre is a color you may use or remember from paint palettes. Some of the best pigments if this type come from an area in the South of France – Roussillon. It’s used all over the village making this one of the most colorful hill towns I’ve ever been to.
I like making things, creativity, creative people, food, fabric, glass, painting, reading, my community, my family, my friends and my dogs.

love the colorful doors.
Great photos today. You are certainly covering some territory. Are you ever going back home?
We’ll make it home eventually 😉
Yay! You made it to Rousillon! Woo hoo! I hope you think it was worth the journey!
Totally worth the journey! We didn’t make it in time to do the hike around the gated area but we saw the museum and the village!
Beautiful photos! The colors are gorgeous.
Thank you! The color saturation there is really something to behold and so intense! I suppose that makes sense since this is Ochre in it’s original form.
