When the strawberry lady at the farmer’s market is offering to sell a full flat of organic strawberries for the price of three baskets at the end of the day, who am I to say no?
While three baskets of strawberries are easy to eat in a day at the home office, twelve is a bit challenging. Additional washing, dehulling, chopping, jamming, and jarring was required. But the end result is jars of summery ruby red homemade strawberry jam to enjoy much later than strawberry season.
