Jamming

Strawberry Jam3 Strawberry Jam2 When the strawberry lady at the farmer’s market is offering to sell a full flat of organic strawberries for the price of three baskets at the end of the day, who am I to say no? Strawberry Jam1
While three baskets of strawberries are easy to eat in a day at the home office, twelve is a bit challenging. Additional washing, dehulling, chopping, jamming, and jarring was required. But the end result is jars of summery ruby red homemade strawberry jam to enjoy much later than strawberry season.

Flea Market Collections

I’ve posted about the Alameda Flea Market before here and here.

Collections are my favorite.    With unlimited space and funding, I’d have unlimited collections.  But for now, I’m settling for taking pictures of them.  Here’s a collection of this month’s flea market collections.June 14 1

Rainbow Ziggy

Piecedgoods Rainbow Ziggy Quilt
I haven’t had a lot of time to quilt recently. Even less time to blog. But I finished this just yesterday. Long arm quilted and bound on the machine – all in one day in a flurry of activity. It’s got a lovely raspberry Minkee on the back. Perfect napping size.
