Kaleido Advancement

I don’t know where she gets these ideas.  The snowman toy was dragged out. Mauling and wrestling commenced on the other end of the quilt top while I was sewing.  It’s raining and wet outside, so in addition to the snowman distraction there were muddy feet to deal with.  Despite all this, progress was made.

It felt risky cutting big holes into the nice solid quilt top.  Even though I’d tested out the insetting on the practice quilt, it just felt like more was at stake on this one, but I’m breathing a sigh of relief now… The smaller ‘snowflakes’ were inset without major catastrophe.  Now on to basting.

Schnap sure knows how to stay on topic. That’s the cutest photo. You are coming down the home stretch on this one. Always a nice feeling.
