The Makery opened recently in Los Altos.The Makery has gorgeous party supplies – it’s a Pinterest pinner’s dream for finding goodie bags to match paper straws, bunting, tulle and tissue paper poofs, craft kits, party hats, and felt balls in all colors of the rainbow.Besides that, there’s yarn, fabric, notions, DIY books, kits, cute gifts, paint, and the most enticing part – studio space where they’re making custom stuff – silk screening, letter press printing, embroidery were things I could see being set up in back.  Everything is high quality and has a hip, young sensibility.

It’s part of the H and H Company –  group which looks to me like it’s in the business of opening interesting and beautifully styled, merchandised,  and thought out businesses.  Worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood!
