Puzzling by Nervous System

Remember how I mentioned this puzzle?

Check these out – They’re on my wish list of fancy wood jigsaw puzzles to splurge on.  Generative Jigsaw Puzzles by Nervous System.  Right up my alley with a little science mixed with kaleidoscopic patterns and gorgeous colors.  Check out the why and hows of these puzzles here.

Each one of the rounds and each cut pattern is different, and they throw in a few “whimsies” shaped like microscopic life like algaes and diatoms.

Cool! I wonder if you can make a quilt like the top puzzle by cutting rounds of different fabrics, pinching them at the center and twisting them, then sewing them in that swirled position. 🙂
