Schnap is still the undisputed Co-quilter. But Murphy has a strong point of view. Murphy feels that quilts are meant to be used.
Instantly.
The idea of a quilt (or frankly any piece of textile) not being immediately enjoyed is preposterous to him. That’s like saving a piece of chicken for later. Or in my case, eating a half bag of chips. Who does that?
Not Murphy.
Nice to know Murphy’s motto is carpe diem! or is that Canine diem?
He seizes every day…as well as every pancake!
I have a quilt puppy too! Loves to carry around fat quarters and plop down right in the middle of what I am working on. Very endearing, but aggravating at the same time.
Yes indeed. Schnap (the white one) moves blocks around. She often makes the quilt better or has caused me to reconsider layouts. Murphy sits in the middle of things and does not move. They make things hard to finish, but it’s good to know that my work is appreciated!
