NASA retired the space shuttle fleet but the shuttle named Endeavour went on a retirement tour before being grounded for good. It was supposed to fly over the Bay Area yesterday, but the flight was postponed due to fog, and it happened today instead. It worked out perfectly for me. I’d thought I had missed it yesterday while busy with other stuff. But then I read in the paper that the flyby was going to occur around 10:30am today in my area.

We went to the Palo Alto Wildlife Refuge with a bunch of other like minded folks to say farewell.
